HBO Cancels Vinyl – What Do You Think? #vinyl

The rock drama executive produced by Martin Scorsese and Mick Jagger, was originally renewed for another season in February but the networks announced, “After careful consideration, we have decided not to proceed with a second season of Vinyl, Obviously, this was not an easy decision. We have enormous respect for the creative team and cast for their hard work and passion on this project.”

The series was about all the things that came with the 70’s music industry, the hits, the flops, the cocaine. Bobby Cannavale played a struggling record exec Richie Finestra along with Olivia Wilde, Ray Romano and Mick Jagger’s son James Jagger. The show had mixed ratings. I know a few folks, like me, who grew up in the 70’s who wanted to like it but…
