November 1 – Dan Peek of America born in 1950. He died on July 24, 2011 in his sleep of fibrinous pericarditis. He was 60. Peek was with American from 1970 to 1977.  He co-wrote and sang lead vocals on “Don’t Cross The River,” “Lonely People,” “Woman Tonight,”and “Today’s the Day.”  He became a Christian artist after leaving America.
