Dec. 12, 2008 – The Joe Satriani/Coldplay lawsuit could be one of the biggest plagiarism cases in music history. Satriani is suing Coldplay for allegedly stealing "substantial original portions" of his song ‘If I Could Fly’ on the title track of the album ‘Viva La Vida.’

The rapper was nominated for 8 Grammy’s last night including album of the year and best rap album for "Tha Carter III," best rap song for "Lollipop" and best rap/sung collaboration for "Got Money" featuring T-Pain. Coldplay got seven nominations and Jay-Z, Ne-Yo and Kane West each had six.
